"We are purchasing a new build home and several people said an inspection probably wasn’t needed, as our builder has had to have every major stage of the building process inspected by the city, including a final occupancy permit inspection (that it passed). My gut told me to go ahead and have Chris do an independent inspection even though it wasn’t required, and we are so happy we did! Chris and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, meticulous, and thorough—everything we wanted in an inspector. He caught quite a few things the city inspector missed. Most things were very small and easily missed, but having them fixed could save us thousands in repairs over the lifetime of our home. Most things he noticed are not even going to be a big deal to fix, but will be worth it, and no one else would have caught these things. He also gave us some really great tips for how to care for our home and maintain some things that we really appreciate as first time home buyers. His pricing was very fair and worth every penny. "This is the second time we’ve had to use Chris after the first house deal was not met. Chris did such a fantastic job the first time that we used him that we knew he was the perfect choice the second time. Extremely thorough and takes his time to make sure that he’s checked everything from the smallest detail to the largest. He researches things when not working and knows about things I think most people our age probably don’t. As a result of this, not only did I learn something new from him, I learned of a potentially dangerous substance in the second house. So if you want your new home ran through with a fine toothed comb, I highly recommend Chris for the job. He’s going to cover everything no matter how small and give you an extremely detailed and accurate report of the home.
